On Thursday 16/2 we had the pleasure and honor to host at our offices Mr. Gadi Oron, Director General of CISAC, the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers.
Mr. Oron held a meeting with the BoD Chairman Yannis Glezos, the General Manager Margarita Panagiotopoulou and management staff of the Organization, with whom he reviewed the course of AUTODIA in recent years, singling it out as an example of success in the long history of collective management worldwide, and took a tour of our new headquarters in Maroussi. Later, the Administration hosted a lunch in his honor at a central restaurant in Athens.
Mr. Gadi Oron has been an ardent supporter of collective management in Greece and firmly believed in the vision of developing and consolidating AUTODIA, after AEPI’s collapse.
The tireless efforts of the Administration, the Management and the staff, combined with the steady support of CISAC, have resulted in the rapid and quick progress of our Organization, despite the adversities, the fragmentation of the repertoire, the effects of the pandemic and the constant competition from various sides.
