Conference: Focus on music technology & intellectual property issues
Autodia participated in Music World Expo 2017, the annual music technology exhibition that took place at Zappeion Megaron, 19-21/5. Autodia’s delegates provided with rich hard copy information all visitors of its stand, ranging from songwriters (autodia’s members and non-members) and music publishers to music users, producers and music fans. Autodia’s stand personnel informed all visitors on autodia’s activity and services covering all aspects of potential cooperation with them and ways of boosting communicational promotion of their work.
Moreover, in the context of the exhibition, a 4-session Conference took place at Zappeion with more than 45 Greek and foreign eminent speakers, presenting and analysing issues related to Music Industry, Music Technology-DJing, Professional Sound and Lighting-Visual-Projection. Autodia’s delegate, Mrs Ilianna Antoniou, Communications & PR, gave a presentation on Cultural and Creative Industries and Intellectual Property in Europe and Greece in the field of music.
Visitors of MWE 2017 had the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of music technology products, music instruments, sound systems, DJs equipment, accessories for audio music professionals of all kind (bars, clubs, hotels, conference rooms etc.) and relevant applications (Live, Home Studio, Studio & Installation) as well as attening the Acoustic Stage events with 18 artists and bands.
The Organisers, Vertical Communications, aimed at creating in a short time period an exhibition with a long-term run significance for music and its technologies that would provide professional musicians and amateurs, as well as professionals of music industry, with an update of new products and services on the wider field of music industry.
