On December, 10th 2021, as agreement for music authors' rights was signed between AUTODIA and the Union of Municipal Broadcasting Media of Greece
The framework of the cooperation determines the payment of the due royalties to AUTODIA, retrospectively from the year 2018 until 2021, providing favorable terms and conditions to those municipal television and radio stations throughout the territory, members of the Union that will join the agreement and acquire the license to use the Organization's represented repertoire.
The Union of Municipal Broadcasting Media of Greece represents historical radio and television stations throughout the country, which over time have been actively supporting creators and national cultural creation.
The agreement is beneficial for both parties as it takes into account both the need of the creators and other rightsholders to be fairly remunerated for the use of their works, and the effects of the ongoing pandemic in the market.
