AUTODIA signed a cooperation agreement with the Panhellenic Association of Cultural Events Organizers for authors’ rights, thus sealing a long-term relationship of mutual appreciation and respect.
The agreement, that was signed just before the expiration of the previous year with a duration of two years (2020-2021), regulates the payment of rights related to the represented repertoire of the Organization, both for live concerts and live streaming concerts which are available by the organizer’s website. The members of the Association that amount to roughly 60 natural and legal persons, automatically join the cooperation agreement and directly benefit from its favorable terms for any future event for which they will obtain the license for live public performance - presentation of musical works to the public.
In a particularly critical period for copyright and given the rapid increase in the digital use of music that is recorded everywhere, AUTODIA continues to negotiate with the whole market spectrum and completes important and mutually beneficial agreements, to the benefit of its Members.
