AUTODIA, the Greek Collective Management Organization of music copyright, has signed a licensing agreement with the popular streaming entertainment service Netflix.
The agreement concerns the Organization’s represented Greek and international repertoire, regarding its use in Greece, through movies, TV series, documentaries, original Netflix productions and other audiovisual content provided by the service to its members.
The agreement lasts until 2023 with the possibility of automatic annual renewal and with retroactive effect from the launch of the service in Greece.
Netflix is the world's leading streaming entertainment service offering TV series, documentaries and feature films across a wide variety of genres and languages. Netflix members can watch as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, on any internet-connected screen; they can play, pause and resume watching, all without commercials or commitments.
This agreement with Netflix follows the Organization’s agreement with MINT Digital Services for the territory of Greece and the world, regarding the licensing and collection of royalties from more than 50 international online music service providers in 200 territories.
