A framework cooperation agreement between the Panhellenic Association of Radio Station Owners (PEIRAS) and AUTODIA was signed on Friday, November 19th, 2021.
The agreement, which regulates the due royalties, regarding the radio stations - members of the Association, for the years from 2018 to 2021, with automatic renewal until 2022, is a happy ending of several months of negotiations between the two bodies.
During the signing of the agreement at AUTODIA’s headquarters, PEIRAS was represented by the President Mr. Antonis Grigoropoulos and the Legal Advisor Mr. Antonis Petridis, while AUTODIA was represented by the Board Chairman Mr. Nikos Antipas, the CEO Mrs. Margarita Panagiotopoulou, the Head of Legal Mr. Ioannis Maragoudakis and the Head of Radio/TV Dept Mr. Manolis Kavalieros.
The participants agreed that the smooth operation of the market depends on the mutual commitment to the principles of transparency, respect, and fruitful dialogue, as well as the observance of legality, for the benefit of both the users of musical works and the Greek music authors, composers and authors, who are both fighting for their livelihood in the midst of a prolonged pandemic.
