AUTODIA - QUALCO Strategic Partnership: A New Era for Music Rights

A new era for music rights in Greece ensuring the stability of the inflow of significant revenue for Composers and Authors, but also the establishment in general of long-term relationships of trust and respect between Creators and Music Users, comes with the new contract signed on April 11th, 2022 between the Collective Management Organization AUTODIA and the technology solutions company QUALCO.

A new era for music rights in Greece ensuring the stability of the inflow of significant revenue for Composers and Authors, but also the establishment in general of long-term relationships of trust and respect between Creators and Music Users, comes with the new contract signed on April 11th, 2022 between the Collective Management Organization AUTODIA and the technology solutions company QUALCO.

This deal for the provision of solutions for the monitoring and management of royalty claims from Public Performance of Music, regulates the long-suffering landscape of Music Rights in the country.

The modern, friendly and streamlined method of approaching and managing Greek companies using music, in combination with the important technical infrastructures and the utilization of advanced software tools of QUALCO place AUTODIA at the forefront of developments among all Organizations of the community of Collective Rights Management. It is estimated that, through this cooperation, the base to be addressed by the Organization will increase significantly in the coming years, reaching more than 100,000 companies throughout Greece and increasing the Organization’s revenue from all sources of Public Performance.

In particular, this 8-year deal provides for the assumption by QUALCO of the management of music royalty claims from Public Performance, TV and Radio Stations, Cinemas, Theaters; it also further strengthens and develops the digital licensing on a commercial and technical level using modern relevant software.

AUTODIA once again invites all Greek creators and rightsholders to unite under the roof and protection of the Organization, looking forward to a more hopeful and lucrative future.
